Rolex – a name that says luxury in any language
The Wilsdorf and Davis watch was almost the name of the most famous timepiece in the world. Few would recognize that name now, but this was once the title of Rolex collection of timepieces. For the first ten years of its life the watch went by the stuffier sounding name, and it is interesting to speculate if it would have achieved quite as much success if it wasn’t for the name-change.
